 Organisation Profile

Introduction

Magro Construction Pty Ltd (Magro Construction) is a medium size Building and Development Organisation formed in 1992.

Magro Construction operates an integrated Business Management System (BMS) that combines Quality, Environmental and Safety policies into a Business Manual.

The Manual is the prime reference document for all business related activities undertaken by the Organisation.

The Manual is structured on and meets ISO 9001:2000 'Quality Management Systems - Requirements' and integrates the necessary components of ISO 14001 and  AS 4801 to satisfy the Environmental  and Safety Management requirements set by the ACT Government (Local Government in the Australian Capital territory).

Organisation Structure

The Organisation structure of Magro Construction includes 2 operational divisions that can undertake work from "green field" site development to construction and programmed maintenance.

Management System Requirements

AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation:

• Needs to demonstrate its capability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements’; and

• Aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulator.

Magro Construction embraces these concepts by matching the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 Standard to its own Business Management System documentation, captured in the Business Manual.
